Okay i was talking to this guy in a dvd shop and he told me there is supposed to be a lot more anime & manga on tv this year in the U.K...also Neon Genesis Evanagelon is coming to the Sci-Fi Channel Spirited Away 3 Disc is coming out soon yay!!I'll shut myself up now

At least in america, there is more then two or three ok animes to choose from. Theres stations that are almost wholly dedicated to anime now... (Canada has YTV, which is changing into an anime channel... slowly... they put on alot of WB Anime too so keep in mind.)

Uk has 1 anime channel...toonami 625 on sky. I only watch it for T titans and crap like that

Finally. Maybe we will get anime that is like, uneditted, because well... the American animes are kinda dumbed down.

Doubt it though. We get anime in HMV and Virgin, but they don't do all the good anime. (Like the Slayers Episodes. And not the short movies with Naga and Lina. ><)

and Toonami isn't a Anime channel. It's more of a "Cool cartoons" channel in which more grown up people want to watch. (Teen Titans is NOT anime ><)

Actually, we did have Eva on Sci Fi for some time. I remember it to be the only Anime I ever watched on British Television from a channel.

(Actually, although we don't have good TV, alot of Americans, and a few of my friends that travel the world, said we English have the best comedy in the world. Huurah, we have ONE good thing.)

lol Comedy isn't too good on British TV, but I guess it is one of the best. I hope we do get more anime....I mean, all the anime which is worth watching has been shown and now repeated. It's pretty boring watching the Cell Saga over and over again ¬_¬ Thats all thats ever played on Toonami!

UK has the funniest live action comedy, America the funniest cartoon (Family Guy, South Park, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, Sealab2021, Futurama) comedy.

And yes, outside Japan itself the U.S. has the widest anime choices in the world.

I'm sick of all animes on UK tele (Yes, including Yu-gi-oh. But the Dub is horrible.)

At one point, DBZ kept showing the Buu saga. Now it's all the Cell Saga. And I friggin hate DBZ. (I also don't like alot of stuff, Including Naruto. But don't think that me hating Naruto makes me a bad person.)

And hell, we get this 'Rave Master' and 'One Piece.' But they aren't great either.

What we need are... (For Example)

The Slayers (The Original and Next. Try is only good if well... you just want to see more randomness. But the main badguy in Try is screwed up. Big time.)

Excel Saga (This one anime is actually an exception to the BIG rule. This Anime is better than the Manga!)

(The above two are parodies and comedies.)

i basicly get all the anime thats good on my computer for free england does have the best stand up comedy lee eveans for one now hes funny we get southpark and futurama and simpsons and that over here in england america just gets all the new stuff first

sci fi channel has had anime on it your years its only just finished its had eva ,excel saga, bubblegum crisis and a lot of other stuff and toonami is channel 621

Well I never knew about Sci Fi, but our Toonami has crap anime... America's gets good stuff.
