Story: For millenia, the forces of both Heaven and Hell have waited patiently for the Apocolypse to come. During this time period, empires and kingdoms both rose and fell, civilization progressed forward, and the world continued to spin. However...everything has changed now. Lucifer the Black Prince has decided to force the hand of God and sent his greatest minions into the mortal realm, intent on slaughtering all of mankind.
Mere days after Lucifer's generals were sent into the mortal realm, almost all of humanity lay in devastation. The greatest cities of Earth were destroyed in mere moments as flames consumed them. Millions died in an instant, flashburned into nothingness. Destruction lay everywhere as the demons laid waste to everything in sight.
In response to this threat, Heaven has decided to send its own group of elites: the greatest Archangels to ever serve Heaven. The battleground will be upon the mortal realm as these two colossal forces engage each other in a bid for power. The fate of mankind lays in the balance. Will humanity be forever bathed in darkness....or will it be saved?

Known as the Right Hand of God, he is the Angel of Judgement and said to be the Prince of Angels, commander of the Seraphim, general and warrior of God, the one who will lead the Armies of Heaven against Hell. Michael weilds the Sword of God, said to have the power of striking down any demon who crosses its path and having the power to pass judgement on mortals. Michael also hefts the Shield of God, which has the power to deflect darkness and the hardness of invincibility; not even Satan can smash through the Shield of God. His armor is pure white, giving off a soft glow and is said to have the power of Heaven itself. DuelistDude

He is the angel that told the shepards of the Birth of the Christ and the one that appeared to Mary, foretelling the birth of Jesus. Gabriel weilds the Sword of Mercy, said to have the power to look into a mortal's heart and determining whether the person is just and good or not. He also carries the Horn of Heaven, capable of opening the Gates of Heaven and summoning the Armies of Heaven. His armor is pure white, just as Michael's is, but has gold veins running through it. It, unlike Michael's armor, does not glow, but it does have the power to give Gabriel the strength of 10 men. Man From The Moon
Raphael the Archangel (http://www.scborromeo.org/images/saints/raphael.jpg): Raphael is known as the "Healing Angel", having the power to cure or heal any wound or disease or ailment. He was called by God to heal Tobias and rescue his son from the clutches of Lucifer. He is the third of the 3 archangels mentioned within the Scriptures, after Michael and Gabriel. Raphael hefts the Spear of Divinity, which is said to have the power to heal allies while dealing incredible damage to enemies. His armor is blue, with light blue veins running through it. Its said that anybody who touches this armor is automatically healed of anything. virgo2005
Tyrael the Archangel (http://www.battle.net/images/battle/diablo2exp/images/animations/npcs/act4/tyreal.gif): Tyrael is the Angel of Death, who is known to almost all mortals, and is perhaps the most famous of all the archangels. He is an archangel different from all others, known to man as Death. When the Pharaoh of Egypt refused to release the Hebrews from their slavery, God sent Tyrael to kill the firstborne of every household in Egypt. Tyrael weilds the Sword of Death, an almost demonic runeblade that has the power to take any mortal life in one swift blow. In addition to the Sword of Death, Tyrael's wings themselves can be used as weapons. In comparison to the other archangels, Tyrael's wings are thin, feathery extensions. He can use them as extra limbs or as whips. Because of his black robe, it is not known if Kepharel the Forger made any armor for this archangel. He acted as Lucifer’s field general and would have teared down the gates of heavens to make way for Lucifer’s army. His powers derive from a suit that has become fused with his body, his attacks center around manipulating the suit and chains. He can also manipulate Necromatter, which is a Flame-like substance from Hell. His cape, which is basically an extention of himself, allows Spawn to fly, hardened into cacoon-like armor shell, and can transform into an axe called Agony. Spawn's armor has no limits to what it can do, only Spawn's own imagination limits it. After being created, Spawn reawakened some of the humanity within him and betrayed Hell, swearing to fight its minions until his second Death. LoneFenix

His name in Hebrew roughly translates to "the Lord of the flies". Beelzebub above all other Demons has been the most active on Earth previously, causing greed among Humanity. Beelzebub holds an enormous meat cleaver called the Cleaver of Disgust and carries whip-like chain, which he uses to pull mortal men into his mouth. Shukaku is said to have the ability to manipulate and control sand to his will. He is also represented as a badger when lurking on Earth. He’s identified with the feeling of loneliness. Shukaku uses sand to form a variety of weapons, including axes, swords and pikes, and can transform the sand into armor for himself as well. When formed into a weapon or armor, the sand itself becomes as hard as titanium. Shukaku looks like a normal human boy to decieve mortals. Kankurou

Named as one of the Prime Evils, Diablo is three times as tall as a normal man and 10 times as strong. As the Lord of Terror, Diablo has the ability to strike fear into the hearts of the bravest of warriors. Diablo has the ability to breathe Hellflame, shoot lightning and raise walls of bones as hard as steel. His main weapons are his claws, which are as hard as the most deadly demonic blades, and are also as sharp as needles. His hide is also impenetrable, being as hard as steel and quite capable of withstanding any blows. Dragon's Malice

Baal has the ability to cause fires to rise wherever he chooses, as well as summon a host of demons and a wall of flame, which bursts from his body, and can control ice as well. He can also make a physical copy of himself, which is useful when he is facing multiple enemies, as well as summon demonic tentacles which burst from the ground, ensnaring anything closeby. His physical strength is not as great as his brother Diablo's, but it is still considerably strong. He has been known to use lightning, frost and poison spells, causing death within seconds. He also uses Drain, an attack that saps away at an opponents energy and leaves him as helpless as a baby.
